Watch this if you are bored!

Well here I am, writing on another post for today. huhu! I m bored. Now, seriously, several months ago I did mention about some DVDs series which I bought. Community is one of them. Seriously, I was influenced to buy this series after a 'minah salleh' had a look at it and giggled. So I guess, it must be a good one. So, I took the risk, and bought it. At first, I was not really interested to watch it, until 1 fine boring day, I just tried my luck. And now... I am addicted. It kills my boredom.

Community is an American television comedy series created by Dan Harmon that airs on NBC. The series is about a group of students at a community college in the fictional locale of Greendale, Colorado. The series heavily uses meta-humor and pop culture references, often parodying film and television clichés and tropes.

Meta-humour aka metajoke here means :
self-referential jokes (This kind of meta-joke is a joke in which a familiar class of jokes is part of the joke),
jokes about jokes (the fact that the joke explicitly talks about other jokes or when jokes make fun of poor jokes by replacing a familiar punchline with a serious or nonsensical alternative), and
joke templates (This kind of meta-joke is a sarcastic jab at the fact that some jokes are endlessly refitted, often by professional jokers, to different circumstances or characters without significant innovation in the humour).

Community centers on:
Jeff Winger (Joel McHale), a disbarred lawyer going to school for the first time after his bachelor's degree is revealed as fabricated. The series focuses on the experiences of Jeff and the study group he accidentally forms while pursuing Britta Perry (Gillian Jacobs), a student trying to get her life back on track. The other members of Jeff's study group include Pierce Hawthorne (Chevy Chase), a millionaire on a late in life voyage of self discovery; Annie Edison (Alison Brie), a young straight-laced student; Troy Barnes (Donald Glover), a former high school star quarterback; Shirley Bennett (Yvette Nicole Brown), a single mother going to school to jumpstart her brownie business; and Abed Nadir (Danny Pudi), a pop-culture obsessed film student. Former Spanish teacher, now student Ben "Señor" Chang (Ken Jeong) attempts to join the study group in the second season.

I m also thinking of getting their soundtracks since there are some songs from the series which I think can fit nicely in my playlist. They are:

I managed to laugh along with the characters in the series. You will laugh too if you understand their jokes.

So If you are bored, please go and watch this. I m thinking of getting the second season. I m sick of GLEE, so I guess Community would be my next crave! GO GREENDALE and the HUMAN BEINGS.
